…is the title of the novel I am working on now. The trouble with writing a novel about distraction is that it’s easy to justify procrastination under the guise of research. For four years, I’ve been obsessed with the title yet too distracted (or too enmeshed in “research”?) to write it. But I’m starting, finally, and writing it all longhand (something I’ve never done). How does writing longhand vs. on a computer change the process? The writing itself?
